ZNBC Workers Protest Enters Day Two, Spreads To Kitwe

Workers at government owned and controlled ZNBC have continued with the protest over delayed salaries.
The protest which started with Mass media Complex, has spread to Kitwe studios where workers also assembled outside the premises stating that they will only resume work when they are paid.
The ZNBC wage bill current stand at K6 million but that Management has told the workers that only K1.6 million has been raised.
Management has since taken over operations of the institutions including News Casting.
Some managers who are on leave have since been recalled.
However, ZNBC Corporate Affairs Manager Masuzhyo Ndhlovu has urged the workers to give Management time to address some challenges.
