Ex-Solider Attempts To Commit Suicide Again

A discharged Zambia Army officer has caused a stir when he climbed a mobile telecommunication tower at cabinet office in Lusaka, and threatened to jump to his death.
This is in protest against his discharge from the defense force.
This is the second time the embattled soldier is attempting to commit suicide.
Staff Sergeant Trywell Katukula was discharged from the Army after he was convicted for being in possession of one hundred and six rounds of ammunition and served a two-year jail term.
After being released from prison, Katukula claimed he was framed and demanded that his case be reviewed in the Supreme Court so that he could prove his innocence.
But fruitless attempts to seek audience with relevant authorities in the Zambia Army or in the government, Staff Sergeant Katukula is now impatient.
