Government Condemn Police Brutality Unleashed CBU Students

Government has condemned police brutality unleashed on protesting Copperbelt University-CBU-students.
Higher Education Minister, Professor Nkandu Luo says the action by police must be condemned in the strongest terms.
Responding to a question in parliament raised by UPND Choma Central Member of parliament, Cornelius Mweetwa, Professor Luo however refuted reports that the police brutality had left a student dead.
She also took a swipe at some opposition leader for allegedly inciting the students to protest.
Meanwhile, Professor Luo says her Ministry is looking at finding a lasting solution to protests, which may include reorienting union leadership in Universities.
