Chilanga’s Namalombwe Squatters Finally Offered Land

Squatters in Namalombwe ward of Chilanga constituency have been advised to pay 18 thousand kwacha as demanded by the legitimate owner.
Lusaka province permanent secretary Stardy Mwale says government has helped with the negotiation to reach this deal.
He says the only thing squatters can do is negotiate for an easy payment term.
The squatters are faced with an eviction if the payment is not made by October 2016.
