Kabimba, Meembe Defamation Case Against RB Adjourned Again

The case in which Rainbow Party Leader Wynter Kabimba and Post Newspaper Proprietor Fred Meembe are alleged to have defamed former President Rupiah Banda has been adjourned to Wednesday July 26, 2016.
Chief Resident Magistrate Kenneth Mulife adjourned the matter due to a new development arising from Mr. Banda.
On July 16 this year, the former head of state issued a statement in the media saying he had opted to discontinue the case against Kabimba, M’meembe and the post newspapers in a bid to preserve peace and unity.
