Researchers Cite Poor Policies for Failed Diversification Agenda

Researchers say poor agriculture Policies are behind the failed country’s agriculture diversification agenda.
This came to light during the 2016-17 agribusiness campaign aimed at ensuring a viable cassava industry in Northern Province.
International Institute of Tropical Agriculture – IITA Project Coordinator, Dr. Pheneos Ntawuruhunga has since urged government to adequately support Cassava farming as a means to fight poverty in the country.
