Prime Television Owner Warned And Cautioned Over Leaked Police Letter

Police have warned and cautioned Prime TV Proprietor Gerald Shawa and station acting manager Makokwa kozi in connection with a leaked government letter which Police had written to the Station.

The police wrote the letter to request for footage of the Press briefing that was held by the UPND on 10th October, 2016.
Zambia Police Spokesperson Esther Mwaata Katongo has confirmed that Mr. Shawa and Mr. Kozi have been Warned and Cautioned for the offence of Communication of Certain Information contrary to section 4 of the State Security Act.
This is contained in a statement made available to Muvi TV news.
AND Mr. Shawa confirmed the development saying police question him over the letter for more than seven hours.
