Four Christmas Babies Born At Ndola Central Hospital

The Ndola Teaching Hospital has attributed the low numbers of children born on Christmas Day at the institution to the district’s strengthening of primary health care system.
Hospital Acting Senior Medical Superintendent Sebastian Chinkoyo says the clinics are more effective and able to successfully attend to expectant mothers.
Dr. Chinkoyo says government will continue strengthening the clinics in order to make health services available and closer to people.
By press time, the hospital had only recorded four Christmas babies comprising two males and two females.
