Mandatory HIV Testing Not Shortcut for Prevention-Kitwe Health Provider

Nkana East clinic sister-in-charge Kalunga Chisolo says mandatory testing should not be considered a simple shortcut to getting HIV-positive patients to help prevent the spread of HIV.
Ms Chisolo says people can still opt out of HIV testing during the process of counselling and testing, but that they should be advised on the benefits of testing.
And the Young Men’s Christian Association-YMCA president Thabo Kawana has urged young people to stop trivializing HIV health issues as it is a recipe for stigma and discrimination.
