Unregistered Taxis Spoil Business For Mongu Bus Drivers

Bus drivers in Mongu have complained over the increase in the number of unregistered taxis in the provincial capital.
The bus drivers who opted to meet Western Division Police Command and Road transport and safety Agency RTSA for a solution say it is high time the pirate taxis are brought to a stop.
They add that government is losing revenue it could have been collecting from taxi registration.
As things stand, there are no registered taxis in Mongu and they are operating against the Road Traffic Act number 11 of 2002.
