Police Killings – Is This The Zambia We Want? – NAREP Leader

National Restoration Party leader Stephen Nyirenda has wondered the killing of two people by suspected officers during and operation.

In a press release to Muvi tv news Mr. Nyirenda says he has received the news with sadness and wonders where the killing culture has come from stating the alleged police shooting of two people one UPND cadre and a state prosecutor is uncalled for in Zambia.

He adds that the unclear circumstances in which the two met their fates must be condemned from whichever side it’s looked from.

Mr. NAREP leader said his fully aware that leadership is that one must lead and the other one has to follow as opposed to killing one another.

He says it is surprising how the whole police service under Kokoma Kanganja, and Stephen Kampyongo can allow their officers to use Live Ammunition to disperse cadres who were simply showing solidarity to their leader Mr Hakainda Hichilema.
