Lusaka Magistrate Felix Kaoma has committed four members of the same family to the high court for trial for aggravated robbery and assault.
This is a matter in which George Mweemba 71 a farmer, Patmore Moomba 60 a farmer, Richard Mweemba 34 a farm worker and Stanford Mweemba 20 a general worker is facing Five counts of aggravated robbery and two aggravated assault contrary to the laws of Zambia.
Particulars of the offense are that George Mweemba, Patmore Moomba, Richard Mweemba and Stanford Mweemba on 4th October 2020 in Lusaka jointly and whilst acting together while armed with offensive weapons namely Pangas, short buttons and pistol did steal fifteen-thousand-kwacha cash from Derrick Chisompola.
